Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually happening.
